49 cent Tacos at Calimex, Every Tues. & Thurs.

I love finding a good hole-in-the-wall place to get yummy, inexpensive food. Today's find comes courtesy of LA Bargain Hunter reader Chris, who tipped me off to 49 cent tacos every Tuesday and Thursday at Calimex Restaurant. (Thanks, Chris!)

Here's the skinny:

Calimex is located in North Hollywood at 5342 Vineland Ave (just south of Chandler).

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you can enjoy tacos for 49 cents each. The tacos are made without extras as there's a salsa and garnish bar where you can load up on the toppings of your choice.

There are two decent reviews of the place on Yelp.
